Piedmont Park Dog Parks (Atlanta)

Atlanta’s living room has serious dog energy—Piedmont Park’s fenced off-leash areas (large and small) are a Midtown staple for social, licensed city dogs.

What to know

  • Leash: Off-leash only inside the dog parks. Everywhere else in Piedmont: leash required (Atlanta cites off-leash).

  • Features: Separate large/small yards, water spigots, bags, double gates; dog-wash station when operating.

  • Hours: Follow park hours and posted dog-park hours.

  • Parking: Active Oval / Park Drive area lots and decks nearby—weekends and festivals are packed.

Tips

  • Close both gates every time—double-gate etiquette matters.
