Dog-Friendly Restaurants & Breweries in Flint, Lansing, Grand Rapids & Grand Haven

Heading out across Michigan with your pup? These restaurants, cafes and breweries in Flint, Lansing, Grand Rapids and Grand Haven welcome dogs, from patio pup menus to taprooms that allow dogs inside. Every spot is pinned on our Dog Fun Map.

Before you go: Patio dog policies change with the seasons. Many patios close or shrink in cold weather, and managers can change the rules. Call ahead or check the venue’s site before you bring your pup, and keep your dog leashed, on the ground, and out of walkways.

Good to know in Michigan: Pet dogs are generally allowed only on approved outdoor patios at Michigan restaurants, not in indoor dining rooms (service animals are always welcome). A few taprooms do allow dogs inside, and we note those below.
